This setup comes ready to go with 2 Vortex crossbars, (4) 2500 Series legs, and a custom fit kit made for mounting on a naked roof. The crossbars are aluminum and finished in black, giving you strength without unnecessary weight. With a weight capacity of 165 lbs, you can load up your kayaks, cargo boxes, or other gear while staying within safe limits. Lockable cover plates on the legs secure the rack to your vehicle so your setup stays put when you’re on the move.
You can’t always avoid highway noise, but this rack helps minimize it. The aero-style crossbars are shaped to reduce drag, and the rubberized Vortex strips in the top channels help quiet airflow and vibration. That means less whistling when you’re cruising and a smoother ride overall.
These bars are built for flexibility. They work with most bike, watersport, snow, and cargo carriers that mount in the top channels or clamp around the bars. The full-length aluminum design gives you plenty of room—each bar measures 46" long x 3-1/8" wide x 1-3/16" tall—so you can position your accessories exactly how you need them for your trip.
Integrated plastic locks in the crossbars help deter theft of channel-mount accessories. If you want even more security, you can upgrade to all-metal locks (RRVA-LEC4 - sold separately). It’s an easy way to protect your gear whether you’re parking overnight or just grabbing lunch on the way to the water.
The aluminum construction keeps things corrosion-resistant and strong through years of use outdoors.
